Museum of the Moving Image is an ideal venue for those looking for a unique, modern location for a wedding ceremony, mitzvah, conference, product launce, private screening, fundraiser or gala. The Museum is available on Saturday and Sunday evenings starting at 7:00 p.m. and all day/evening Monday-Wednesday or Thursday starting at 6:00 p.m. The Museum’s 262-seat Sumner M. Redstone Theater serves as a dramatic setting for wedding ceremonies, conferences, panel discussions and screenings and it fully equipped with video projection, theatrical lighting and sound. The Main Lobby/Café and Digital Learning Suite serve as flexible spaces for dinner and dancing. They can be configured in numerous ways depending on the style of your reception. Throughout your event, Museum galleries can remain open for your guests to enjoy our many interactive experiences, iconic artifacts and vintage video games. There are also multiple spaces throughout the Museum where custom content can be projected. Our Courtyard offers the opportunity to enhance any event within an open air setting
