You may have been looking for Chef Miguel on PIX11 last week…but sometimes live TV has other plans!

So we decided to bring the story to you instead.

✨ Welcome to Meet your Chefs; a new series where we introduce you to the people, memories, and moments behind the kitchen that make us who we are!

Our newest fall dish, Cod con Coco, started with a conversation.

As Chef Miguel shared memories of his mother’s Pescado con Coco…the sauce, the aromas, the flavors that defined his childhood…Chef Austin listened.

Then he went to work.

When Miguel walked back into the kitchen, the smell alone stopped him in his tracks. For a moment, he wasn’t in our test kitchen anymore, he was back in his mother’s home.

According to Miguel, Austin had somehow recreated not just the recipe, but the feeling.

That’s how our menus are built.

Not from trend reports or ingredient lists alone, but from memories, cultures, traditions, and the people who make this company what it is.

The minute the last spring celebrations wrapped, it was right back into the studio as we photographed and perfected our Fall & Winter 2026–2027 menus…and trust us, you’re going to want to see what’s coming.

From recipe testing and final plating to styling every last detail, this is where months of creativity come to life before it ever reaches your table. These behind-the-scenes moments are some of our favorites.

A special thank you to Something Different Party Rental for helping us showcase our newest menus with their incredible tabletop collections. Every plate, glass, and finishing touch helped tell the story.

We’re beyond excited to officially welcome Miguel Trinidad as Executive Sous Chef at Thomas Preti Events to Savor.

If you’ve spent any time following New York’s culinary scene, chances are you’ve already heard his name.

From opening celebrated restaurants like Maharlika, Jeepney, BoilerMaker, Two Bridges, Mace, and Harlem Juicery, to authoring I Am A Filipino (named one of the year’s best cookbooks by The New York Times) to pioneering the world of cannabis culinary arts with his acclaimed fine dining experience, 99th Floor, Miguel has never been afraid to push culinary boundaries.

But what has impressed us most isn’t what’s on paper.
